Lactate Threshold Testing

Choose how you want to get tested — full in-person testing or remote analysis using your own device.

What is Lactate Testing?

Lactate threshold testing is a gold-standard physiological assessment that measures how your body responds to increasing exercise intensity.

By tracking blood lactate levels at different efforts, we identify two key thresholds:

  • LT1 (Aerobic Threshold): The point where endurance effort starts to become more demanding.
  • LT2 (Anaerobic Threshold): The point where effort becomes hard to sustain and fatigue builds rapidly.

These thresholds allow for precise, individualised training zones—far more accurate than generic formulas.
